Helping businesses that want to rank and stay relevant.
What I do
01
Local SEO
Google Business Profile optimization, local pack ranking, citation building, geo-targeted pages, and local signals for businesses that need to show up where their customers are searching.
02
Website SEO
On-page optimization, content structure, metadata, internal linking, schema markup, and technical SEO. From single pages to full site-wide work across blogs, service pages, and directories.
03
GEO / AEO
Entity SEO, brand mention strategies, PR outreach, and content approaches built for visibility in AI-driven search results and answer engines.
04
Content & Outreach
SEO content writing, backlink acquisition, and outreach campaigns. Built around topical relevance and real editorial placements, not just link volume.
Featured work
Auto repair shop with a solid web presence but limited visibility for Japanese vehicle repair. The goal was to make them the clear local authority for that niche in Chamblee and nearby areas.
Methods
Built topical relevance around Japanese vehicle makes through homepage improvements and dedicated service pages for Toyota, Honda, and other makes. Created a geo-targeted page for Brookhaven targeting nearby local search demand. All pages structured with local keywords in headings, meta tags, and body content, with internal links connecting make-specific pages back to the main service structure. LLM prompting used manually to test brand and service visibility in AI-driven results.
Tracking
Page performance tracked via Ahrefs. Rankings verified through anonymous browser searches. Kukui used to monitor client leads and confirm that leads were closing from the pages built during this project, including sources traced back to ChatGPT. LLM prompting used manually to check AI-driven visibility.
Tools
Joined AutoTechIQ in 2022 at its early startup stage. A SaaS platform building a directory and certification system for auto shops across the US, needing SEO built into its foundation from the start.
Methods
Contributed to the SEO structure of AutoTechIQ’s native CMS, including fields for metadata, image SEO (alt text, title, description), page body sections, and FAQ fields set up for schema markup. Handled site-wide on-page SEO across blog posts, shop directory pages, location pages, and service pages. Work included content structuring, internal linking between strong and weaker pages, and meta tag optimization. Also worked on the local SEO layer of the shop directory at scale. Before the native CMS, early work was done through WordPress.
Tracking
Organic performance tracked through Google Search Console and GA4. Content optimization guided by SurferSEO. Keyword and competitive research done via SEMrush. Image and technical SEO managed directly through the custom CMS.
Tools
A female clothing store built entirely from the ground up. This project covers the full groundwork: GBP verification, website creation, and all on-page and off-page SEO work done from scratch with no prior web presence.
Methods
Started with video call GBP verification, then worked through a step-by-step optimization process: profile fields, product and service details, image library, and a review and reputation management strategy. Built the website with local keywords across all pages, customized URL slugs, canonical URLs, and a clean internal linking structure. Navigation, breadcrumbs, and category pages built to support a healthy crawl structure. Later added backlink building and improved page speed by replacing heavier plugin sections with custom code. Schema implemented via custom HTML/CSS rather than plugins.
Tracking
Organic performance and CTR tracked through GSC and GA4. Keyword research done with SEMrush and SearchAtlas. GBP engagement monitored through manual GBP Insights month over month.
Tools
Collaborated with Chris McElroy’s SEO agency in Austin, handling SEO tasks across his own web properties and managing local SEO for a portfolio of client accounts.
Methods
On-page SEO improvements across agency websites built on WordPress and Elementor. Local SEO for Chris’s Austin presence through business directory work, GEO-driven content, and entity SEO. Managed local SEO for multiple client accounts with tailored reporting per client. Ran GEO and entity SEO campaigns including PR outreach to build brand mentions across trusted websites, forums, and social platforms.
Tracking
Rankings and site health tracked via Ahrefs and SEMrush. Local pack and map visibility tracked with Local Falcon. Organic performance monitored through GSC and GA4. Domain authority and link profile checked with Moz.
Tools
Managed a portfolio of over 40 US-based Google Business Profile accounts simultaneously, across industries including home services, health, tourism, insurance, investment, property management, furniture, and contracting.
Methods
Each account received a full audit and optimization pass: profile completeness, category selection, description writing with local and service keywords, images, videos, Q&A, and service listings. Unverified profiles handled through the full verification process. Ongoing management included monitoring for profile issues, making improvements based on local pack performance, and providing analysis tailored to each business owner’s competitive situation. Citation building carried out for relevant accounts alongside local SEO recommendations for client websites where access was available. Manual GBP Insights reviewed consistently across all accounts as a baseline tracking method.
Tracking
Local pack visibility tracked with Local Falcon and BrightLocal. Keyword and competitive research done through SearchAtlas and SEMrush. Manual GBP Insights reviewed across all accounts to monitor engagement, search queries, and profile actions over time.

Wins I’m proud of
GEO / AEO
A real customer came in from a ChatGPT recommendation
While managing TLS Motorworks, Kukui’s lead tracking showed a customer had found the shop through ChatGPT, which had recommended one of the pages I built. A concrete GEO result at a time when most people are still debating whether it matters.
Local SEO
A multi-location cleaning company that went from invisible to present
When I started working with this client in December, their digital presence was essentially zero. The trend line tells the story: from that month forward, their visibility started to exist. Watching a business go from nothing to something online is always satisfying.
Local SEO / GEO
Heatmap improvements after combining GBP, on-site, and off-site work
For a local service business, running GBP optimizations alongside on-site and off-site work at the same time produced a clear shift in the local pack heatmap. Seeing the grid go from red to green is one of the most visual confirmations that everything is working together.
GBP Management
Year-over-year growth on smaller profiles that started from scratch
Comparing the same month across two years for profiles I built from nothing. Seeing the numbers go from flat to real growth is one of those moments where the work speaks for itself.
Content SEO
A seasonal blog post with a higher CTR than pages with ten times the impressions
A long-tail blog post targeting a seasonal landscaping query. Low search volume, but the CTR told the real story. When the intent is right and the title earns the click, the numbers follow. Long-tail low-hanging fruit done well beats high-volume guesswork.
And counting
Every project adds a new one to this list.
These are a few of the moments that stand out. The full list below keeps growing.
Other wins along the way
- Built a trusted contact list of over 50 high-authority websites for off-page SEO outreach
- Implemented custom code on websites to replace plugins, improving page speed and seeing real visitors benefit from it firsthand
- Managed and retained 40+ local SEO clients on the agency side simultaneously
- Upsold GBP services to agency clients after auditing their profiles and showing them what they were missing
- Witnessed LLM brand citations appear after testing off-page tactics, confirming the GEO approach was working
- Got multiple accounts into top 3 organic and local map pack for their main service queries
- Collaborated and ran tests with other SEO professionals, seeing results from shared experiments
- Did on-page SEO work on pages in 2022 that still rank #1 in 2026
- Image SEO strategies, alt text and meta descriptions, consistently getting images onto the first page for every topic they target
And many more.
About
Júlio Roque
SEO Specialist
I’m Júlio Roque, an SEO specialist focused on Local SEO, website SEO, GEO, and AEO. I’ve been working in SEO since 2021, with experience across freelance projects, agency work, and in-house SEO.
Most of my work involves helping businesses rank where their customers are actually searching. That means Google Business Profile optimization, local content strategy, on-page structure, and building the kind of entity presence that holds up as search continues to change.
I also work on GEO and AEO, helping businesses stay visible as AI-driven search becomes a bigger part of how people find information. This includes entity SEO, brand mention strategies, and content built with answer engines in mind.
On the technical side, I work with website structure, page speed, schema markup, and crawlability. I also build and design websites from scratch when needed, handling everything from structure and on-page SEO to the actual design and development work.
I’ve worked with businesses across a wide range of industries, from auto repair shops and home services to e-commerce and digital agencies, mostly in the US market.
